Back in the day when I had slave -devotees, we did not set aside time
for lessons, as such. We would do things together, or I would give them
things to do, and the growing would come naturally out of that, Goddess
provides.

   Here is a story:

I planted potatoes one year in my vegetable. The following spring, it
appears what potatoes had been missed in the harvest, had migrated and
multiplied quite inexplicably. There were potatoes coming up everywhere.
There was even a potato plant growing in the front flower garden, and
another in the strawberry patch, on the other side of the double driveway
from the back garden. I dunno how they got there.
When you garden with the help of Faeries, odd things happen.

I had a new slave-on-probation, and as part of his testing he was
required to weed my vegetable garden, and harvest all the potatoes. He was
bipolar and depressive, and had shown signs of instability in my shakti
presence, and was looking not likely to pass.
I had recognised him as "mine" when we first met, 5 years before and
3000 miles away... but it had taken him 5 years to figure it out for
himself and he had become much crazier in the interim. I thought to give
him a traditional Zen job digging in the dirt that would hopefully keep him
grounded, and see if he could stick.

I instructed him and left him alone to do it, went back to my computer
and kept a mental eye on him, feeling him resistant and freaking over
nothing, processing what I could.

When I went out to check on him a few hours later, he was indeed in
quite a shape. He was in a frenzy, his weeding had gotten quite carried
away, he had pulled away the tops of all the potatoes without recognising
them, dug around a bit, ripped out a bunch of other plants I had
specifically told him to leave alone, and swore to me that there were *no
potatoes* in my garden.
There was a bright red potato sitting right on the surface of the dirt
in front of him, red on black, hard to miss, I could see it from the other
side of the fence. I was a little cranky from feeling his resistance and
seeing the devastation he had wrought, so I cussed him out and sent him
home to think.

I had an excellent female slave, I sent her out to dig potatoes, in the
dark! She did not even have the tops to show where in the garden there
might be potatoes, but she had faith and a garden fork, and came back with
a bushel load.

Went out myself with another female slave, another day and harvested
another bushel, digging again in the same places. We came up with a
catch-phrase to illustrate how negative thinking and scarcity
consciousness, affects reality:
   "No potatoes."

A High Priest friend tells a story of visiting a Shaman. A guy came in
asking where are the elk? Paid his $50. and the Shaman did a thing with
smoke and rattles, and told him there were 5 elk at a certain location. The
guy left happy.
Another guy came in with the same question, paid his $50. and the Shaman
did the thing with the smoke and rattles, and told the guy there were 50
elk at the same location he told the first guy. The second guy left happy,
too.

My friend was puzzled, and asked the Shaman why he did a repeat of the
ritual when he already knew the answer, and why he told one guy there were
5 elk, and told the other guy there were 50.

The Shaman said, "They both paid for the show, so they got the show.
Plus, the first guy is only able to *see* five elk, and the other guy can
see 50."

This left my friend impressed, and really wishing he could get a glimpse
of the Shaman's reality... Being a Shaman, I can tell you, life really is
like that. In one persons reality there are only 5 elk, and no potatoes. In
someone else's, there are 50 elk and two bushels of potatoes.

Which reality is true? They both are, for the people who live there. We
each create our own.
