From gustaf.grefberg at starbreeze.com Mon Jun 6 15:10:47 2005 From: gustaf.grefberg at starbreeze.com (Gustaf Grefberg) Date: Tue, 7 Jun 2005 00:10:47 +0200 Subject: [Helpers] First lesson audio file up Message-ID: <190882CA24B3B94F8AFB36BA5E60C7CE016B7751@ix.o3games.com> I've just uploaded the first lesson audio file in mp3 format. You can listen to the file in two versions, one is unprocessed, simply converted into 128kps mp3 formet. The other has some processing on it, a bit of noise reduction and other things to shape it up a bit. I also went in and manually toned down some really sharp Sss and Shh sounds. These probably weren't in the original recording, but the real media conversion probably made it that way. Let me know what you think, and I'll proceed with the other files. :) Although I probably won't do any manual editing or processing with any lesson files past where I have gotten in the course yet. But I can definitely convert those and give a closer look at them once I have taken that lesson. So far as I know, none of the lists have been down. I've been a space cadet the past few weeks, having difficulty focusing on anything computer related. Spring fever, ADD, Kundalini? Someone suggested it might be allergies, I dunno. Sometimes when this happens it is just my orbit, the body taking a vacation... often that means I have taken on too much karma from people... get spacey instead of cranky and burnt out like I used to. Could be a side effect of my getting into some local pagan politics... Got flamed a lot, responded to almost none of it. My outbox is full of incomplete responses, posts to the tea room are backing up, as is all my correspondence. I have hardly touched the book or the websites, just no focus. I've only done two sessions the past few weeks, and those had been booked well in advance. I complained of it to druid and he pointed out I have been getting some stuff done around the house... but nothing is finished there either. Got the upper deck half stained, canoe partly sanded for repainting... my gardening is way behind, plants purchased weeks ago drying up in the pot, unplanted. I'm thinking to call a vampire chat and have folks feed on me. I had intended to put up a new chat workshop schedule for this month but haven't had a brain for that, either. Anybody wanna take a look at my energy and tell me what you see? At 08:07 AM 6/9/2005, Druout at aol.com wrote: >Dear Gustaf, > >Yeah! I think the list was down for a few days. It's in the air as well. I'm also having trouble getting anything done. My house needs vacuuming. My own decks need cleaning and waterproofing and have for two years. (You are way ahead of me there! LOL!) Finally got a couple of plants planted, but not all--and I haven't checked to see how those are doing. Can't seem to finish up the quotes. Can't finish up the last Poll (though it's nearly done) --just can't seem to put on the finishing touches for anything! In other words--maybe time to simply vegitate and enjoy the spring? I was actualy glad that the Helpers mailing list has been quiet for a while... I've been working on my site which I am trying to finish at the end of this month so that I can open to public on July 6th for sure. And because of that, I don't really have any extra time for any other stuff anyway. I think you should just stop thinking about all the stuff you haven't done and take a gooooood rest because thinking about it is not going to help anyhing but sucks your energy out.
