If you have patience to do that then you are a better man than me, Gunga
Din.
I do it with search and replace because it is easier to plug the
template in, around the content than to cut and paste and rename... I just
find the places you made changes and swap them with the old template. Just
think of the "negative space." The content of the lessons is different, but
most of the code snippets that falll between content bits, are the same and
can be swapped out.
Mind you, I would love to rename all the files so they fall in order of
lessons in a directory... but it is a scary task... because all the audio
and ram files would have to be renamed, too...

I'm sorry I was not clearer in my approval! I came across a post from
you I did not respond to before as I was too preoccupied to give hugs...
:) I appreciated your polishing it, and how you went the extra mile,
anticipating what would be needed. Very cool!
Sorry I got anxious and tried to rein you in! Just stray maternal
instincts...
I'm going over your template in more detail now... I see some alignments
have changed, and I want to add links to the images in the titles header...
although I cannot think what, just now... So I will tweak it a little, but
I can see you have really cleaned things up.
Thanks for shrinking the images, BTW... I usually do that at the end of
a project, when I know for sure which ones I am going to use... which means
I often never get to it! :) Good to have it done.

It is just my ADD brain, how I adapt.
Copying the content into all the different places it belongs in the new
template and keeping the file renaming straight is too boring of a job for
me to be able to do well, without messing up or wandering distracted. I'd
get lost in it.
Doing it with search and replace is faster, and interesting because it
is more challenging. I will have to spend some time on each page while
editing the content, so fixing little bits that got missed in the search
and replace is ... a few seconds brain break from writing, something to do
while awaiting Divine inspiration.... preferable instead of hours of
mindless click click to copy and paste it all.. and easier on the carpal
tunnel.
Anyhow, I pulled an all-nighter and it is done.

Do you have a code snippet you like to use for that?
Anybody? I have some archived someplace but I'd have a learning curve to
conquer, never made them before.
I'm thinking a box about 450 pixels wide and ? deep. Tidy little window
that won't get killed by a popup blocker, and lets them keep the lesson
page open while they surf the links.
Please give to me the secret code!

Ahhh, deadlines. Life is what happens while we are busy making other
plans...
I would like to upload pretty new design pages to the live site in
weeks, or months... then continue to tweak the content in the working
mirror and swap it into the live site as it is ready.
My deadline is probably overly ambitious, given that I'm also working on
the book, and have a Weekend intensive to promote...
Getting the content into the template, is the first priority... I will
take a whack at it, because the other helpers need to have a current
version to work on.
That, and adapting the new template to the preview...
Sachiko, would you be able to adapt the preview template and shrink the
image files for it?
Many of the preview pages are mostly finished, but they are a slow
download. The two new preview lessons have not been converted yet... I had
to finalize the lesson template first. Ah, things to do!
Thank you for your labours.
