They are both processed and converted to mp3 audiofiles, and you can find them on your FTP, in the gustaf/lessons subfolder. I've set so it's pretty much automated process, so I can make mp3 out of all the lessons on the CD, including those I haven't done yet, without having to listen to them. I've ran them all through some processing with a bit of restoration, bringing back some of the high frequencies that were lost in the real audio compression, and applied some compressor/noise gate with makes it sound a bit cleaner. :) If you don't like it that way, I will make mp3s without any processing at all and upload them again. Not done with it until you are happy with the result. The files all have the same filenames as the original files, but with an .mp3 extension instead of .rm I was not able to convert the audio only files for some reason, but I was able to strip the sound from the videos and turn those into mp3s. As far as I know, it's the same sound. Namaste! I haven't listened to them yet, but I trust your choices. You are the expert, not me! I discovered the original little digital video tapes of the raw footage we shot in 1999. Mark did give them to me after all. Someday the videos will have to be redone to improve the quality and keep up with technology... but it is not on the things to do list, at this time. The computer I have now, has not quite enough juice to do video editing, even assuming I had the time... and I have nobody I trust to do it for me. I videotaped myself teaching the KSN Calgary workshop, and I know there is some great stuff in there, inspired. I don't know how the video quality came out. I have only seen a few moments of it. Someone volunteered to be cameraman for the first bit, but afterward he set the camera still, unfortunately not low enough. The cieling lights of the room are in the frame, so everything else is dark. Even so, I'd like to capture some audio. Assuming it is good, the mic was stationary and I was not... but I think, that is easier to fix with audio than vid? Plus, I did not get consent forms signed, so if others are in frame I could not use it. I particularly want one bit... I taught third eye opening in a new way, everyone expressing their limiting beliefs and me turning them all into comedy. It was very funny, and everyone's third eye was open after that! >The files all have the same filenames as the original files, but with an >.mp3 extension instead of .rm Excellent! That makes an easy search and replace! >I was not able to convert the audio only files for some reason, but I was >able to strip the sound from the videos and turn those into mp3s. As far as >I know, it's the same sound. Well, it would be. There are no audio files, that was someplace where Mark, my old partner totally wimped on me. The plan was to make a separate audio file of smaller bandwidth, because from the beginning I was doubtful of smooth viewing with realplayer. Instead he gave me a javascript form to paste in, and the code for a popup window. The "audio only" is the same rm file as the vid, popping up in a window without a picture. Lame, eh? I'm very excited, and happy that the "audio only" finally is a genuine audio file, and in a new and excelellent format! Thank you! I am so tired of getting emails from people asking me or trying to persuade me that they are a Shaman, that I have been tempted to take down the Shamans page on K-teacher. Instead I thought I would put up a multiple choice quiz for people trying to define themselves. Most of the people asking are actually Witches, or magicians, or... and I don't care. Labels! I have seen plenty of these sorts of quizzes on the web, does anybody know what kind of CGI or engine drives the machine? I'll work out my impatience with a learning curve for one for the Shamans page on K-teacher, and if the bird can fly then I might be inspired to put some into FST. Might be interesting to have one every 8 lessons or so, not so much as a test, that you have to "pass" before getting the next lesson (that was in the plans back in 1999) but more of a diagnostic. Like after the "opening the heart chakra" lesson. People seem to get stuck on it, and often they are really not. They have had the heart speaking all along they just expect something different. If you get the audio captured, I can definitely edit it for you. In fact I can edit video too without any major problem. Including make real video files, quicktime or mpeg, or any other format. Got a smaller studio here at home, and if that's not enough I can always use the studio at work. Just make sure that the audio is uncompressed, high quality. There are limits to how much it can be improved if the original quality is really low, but I can definitely give it a good tuneup. A possibility, if you capture not only the extra content you talked about, but the original tapes as, is to make a lesson DVD. It would make it possible for students to do the classes in a comfortable place in the livingroom/bedroom without the interference of the computer. Many ideas coming through me at the moment, maybe something resonates with you. :) > Well, it would be. There are no audio files, that was someplace where >Mark, my old partner totally wimped on me. Important things is that how you would like to gather the information. for example... each question has variable that will be added as the contestant answer the question. Question #1 - choice 1 add point 1 for Witches - choice 2 add point 1 for Shaman - choice 3 add point 1 for Magician so on.... Every answer add or subtract point to each variables and at the end of the test greatest point gathered is picked. or something like that.....
