This is a hot process soap containing kaolin clay, which is used in fine beauty soaps to refine skin, and in shaving soaps to make the soap more slippery and prevent nicks. Kaolin is the least drying of the skin clays. It is also called "china white" because it is used in geisha makeup, to give them the white faced look. Not to be confused with "china white" heroin! I made the Faerie cake soap from the same batch. I was trying for a masculine scent, with the cedar and rosemary. Men are ambivalent about the fragrance, but women love it!
Contains saponified tallow, sunflower oil, olive oil, coconut oil, lard, canola oil, sweet almond oil, beeswax, castor oil. Kaolin clay. Carrot tissue oil for colour. Fragranced with essential oils of cedar wood, sage, cypress, rosemary, clary sage, eucalyptus, wintergreen.
