Heya:
Thank you, Sandra.
In the interests of saving time and energy, I'll reiterate: This check
is to weed down the pages and find which essay is most current. The pages
are by no means completed yet, you will find a lot of things wrong that are
consistently wrong across all the pages and there is no need to report on
that stuff.
This is a quick and simple task: We need to know which version of each
lesson has the most current essay and sits better in its form, before we
move forward on other work... no point to fixing all the stuff on both
versions!
There are some things, particularly links, that are broken or missing
on every page, and there is no need to report that stuff.
The header is messed up on all the new form pages, and will be repaired
once we have the pages weeded down. The header contains image files "audio
only", "Realplayer video" and sometimes the old title gif, because these
needed to be preserved temporarily so we can drag and drop the links into
their new place on the navtable.
In the meantime, none of those links will work, Those links don't work,
and neither do the audio and video links in the navtable. The form itself
is often distorted in size (width) by the old title image link. Ignore
that, for now.
You don't need to report on this stuff which will all be cleaned up
later, and the title and number of the lesson will replace it. Similarly,
in some places there is a lesson title at the top of the essay box, which
will be deleted.
Some links will not work because this working version of the site does
not have all the subfolders that are on the live site. Some links are to
pages yet to be created.

Yay!! That is the most important thing I need to know. Which essay is
most current, or whether they are the same.

See above..

see above...

That is odd... the page does exist... for the most part, links can be
checked automatically and you don't need to test any of them.

Yes, the logo points to the video, as before... but the video subfolders
are not included in the working version. No worries about that stuff.
>"Experiences" graphic does not load (and there is no link to click,

Good, that is another important thing to report. This page has an
"experiences" section already, but it has to be moved into the
"experiences" text box....
>There is no homework contents given.
There is none on any of the pages, yet... it is new. No need to report it.
>The sentence at the bottom of the page: "This page is located at..."

They all do, except on some it has been made invisible with a comment
tag. No need to report it.
>Mystweb link gives a 404 error.
Page doesn't exist yet.
>"This page was lovingly created by... " link gives a 404 error.
Same link as the image of me top right. No need to report.
>Home link (in two locations, menu column and at bottom of page) gives a

Yup, no need to report.

Yup... not created yet.
>The menu column calls for "Other Links" and then pages to "Lesson

There are two links boxes, one for experiences links and one for other
off site links.

Yes, once you have found them... we can put them in. Searching the K-list
archives and tea room for experiences links is a separate things to do list.

Not sure what you mean.. I think it will be easier once the headers are
fixed and say the name and number of the lesson.

It is just a leftover from the search and replace, I'll delete those
when I edit the essays. No need to report.

>There are no links given in the "Lessons Link" right-column area.
Yup, it is the same for all lessons, no need to report it.
